Fittings

• TRI-CLAMP— Tri-Clamp connections are the industry standard, having quick-connect ferrules to simplify design and installation

• DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm)—DIN fittings are a German design but they sometimes are supplied on Italian equipment and they are often used on filters that are manufactured in Europe. DIN fittings are male/female and use a threaded nut, female threaded ferrule and gasket to provide the seal. Millimeters are used to define tube id sizes.

• GAROLLA—Garolla fittings are an Italian design and they are often on Italian tanks, filters, Destemmers, etc. The design is somewhat similar to a Tri Clamp fitting in that there is a gasket and clamp plus the two fittings that are mirror images of each other. Millimeters are used to define tube id sizes.
• BEVEL SEAT—Bevel Seat fittings are often used in the milk and food industries. The design is similar to DIN and Pacific Coast with a threaded nut, female threaded ferrule and gasket to provide the seal. Inches are used to define tube id sizes.
• PACIFIC COAST THREAD—Pacific Coast fittings are similar DIN and Bevel Seat with a threaded nut, female threaded ferrule and gasket to provide the seal. Inches are used to define tube id sizes.
• I Line—I Line fittings are similar to TC in that a clamp and gasket is used to provide the seal. The difference is that there is a male and a female part that fit together with the gasket. Inches are used to define tube id sizes.
